2. His Hands

Connor Bedard is going to make a lot of plays with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Connor Bedard can pass and make players around him better just as well as he can shoot. That is why he is this generational prospect that everyone wanted so badly in 2022-23.

Well, his hands are also silky smooth. He can make amazing plays by deking through defenders. That also includes deking out a goaltender to get the puck into the net.

He can be so deceptive with his hands that it allows him to make the proper pass or use his incredible shot. Defenders in the NHL are much better than anything he has faced but he is still going to be able to use these skills to confuse them and goalies.

We have seen many instances throughout the 2022-23 season playing for either the Pats or Team Canada where he deked through three or four defenders to find an open look on the net. McDavid is known for doing things like that and now it will be Bedard doing it too.

With hands like this, Bedard will be making something out of nothing on the regular. It will also allow him to make plays on the defensive side of things as well. Both he and his teammates will benefit from it.
