5 guaranteed wins for the Chicago Bears on 2023 NFL schedule

Chicago Bears guaranteed win Number 3: Week 5 @ Washington Commanders (TNF)
Don’t think the Bears don’t remember last year’s prime time debacle, in a game they absolutely should have won. That was an ugly game, where Chicago missed opportunities left and right. In fact, the Bears could have won that game by double digits if just a couple of simple plays had gone the way they should have.
Instead, it was an embarrassing 12-7 loss that included three turnovers on downs for the Bears’ offense. Needless to say, that won’t be happening again this time around. And, the Bears are going to make a statement in the Commanders’ house, giving Washington a taste of what the city of Chicago experienced last year in prime time.
The Commanders have one glaring question mark, and it’s a question mark the Bears have been long familiar with: the quarterback position. Whether it’s Jacoby Brissett or Sam Howell, Washington doesn’t have anyone nearly as threatening as Fields. And he’s the difference in this game.
Washington’s defense is highly underrated, and they finished last season as a top-15 unit, overall. But, Fields ends up being too much for the Commanders in this one, and the Bears come away with revenge, winning by a score of 24-13.
