Trade Number 2: The Chicago Bulls execute a sign-and-trade involving Coby White

The Bulls want to bring Coby White back. But, in the case that they might not be able to, or if for some reason the front office is foolish enough to not desire him to stay (despite what they’ve said publicly), then dealing him in a sign-and-trade could be a huge win.

Again, this is assuming the Bulls cannot or won’t re-sign White. If that’s the case, then trading him to New York for some assets could be another way for this franchise to move forward.

There has been some speculation in regards to what White will command this offseason.

The latest report had White’s asking price landing right around $15 million annually, which the Bulls should absolutely pay, especially considering they could end up getting out of the Lonzo Ball contract with a rare exception.

But, for the case of this trade, the salaries match up pretty well, here. Not to mention, the Bulls also get a pair of first-round picks for a guard who looks to be blossoming into a star; and the Knicks have plenty of picks to trade down the line.
