RW. New York Rangers. Patrick Kane. 88. player. 95.

The Chicago Blackhawks would love to have Patrick Kane back in 2023.

The Chicago Blackhawks traded Patrick Kane to the New York Rangers right before the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline. That was obviously shocking news for all fans of hockey.

He went there and had a mediocre run as his point total wasn’t as Patrick Kane-like as we expected and they were out of the first round after losing to the New Jersey Devils.

Kane is now a free agent. Unless he takes less than market value, it is hard to see the Rangers retaining him. His comments after the season also make it seem like he is done with them.

The Chicago Blackhawks probably weren’t planning on bringing him back either but winning the Bedard sweepstakes changes everything.

Kane would look really good with Bedard on a line and on the power play. Each of them is great at both shooting and passing so they could make things very difficult on opponents.
