3 former Blackhawks to bring back to play with Connor Bedard

The Chicago Blackhawks are going to make the first overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft following their draft lottery win.

It is a very exciting time for the organization as the new face of the franchise is on his way. The dynasty of 2009-2017 is over and they can move on.

Bedard brings a very unique skill set to the table as he makes everyone around him better through his elite playmaking, outstanding skating, and a great shot.

There is really nothing he can’t do and that is why he is one of the most hyped prospects ever. Now, the Blackhawks have to find a way to build around him.

They have some amazing young prospects which has them ranked as a top-ten farm system by most outlets. Kids like Lukas Reichel, Kevin Korchinski, Drew Commesso, Ethan del Mastro, and Colton Dach amongst others are getting ready to make the jump to the NHL.

The Chicago Blackhawks could bring back a former player to help Connor Bedard.

They also might consider bringing back a former Blackhawk player to come in and play with him during the off-season. Bedard would certainly benefit from adding a veteran to the team that knows the team and city well.

There are a lot of players that fit the bill but there are a few that make more sense than others. It would be even better if they were skilled enough to play on the top line with him so that he is confident about his game from day one.

These three players make the most sense as former Chicago Blackhawks stars that would be great on a line with Bedard:
