Free agent big men from NBA Playoffs the Chicago Bulls should target: Naz Reid, Minnesota Timberwolves

Type: Unrestricted

2022-2023 regular season stats: 18.4 minutes, 11.5 points (53.7 percent shooting), 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 steals

This might be more of a pipe dream for the Bulls, unless they are going after a replacement for Vucevic. Minnesota Timberwolves free agent center Naz Reid could be one of the more sought-after free agents across the league this summer, after he had a true breakout season in the Twin Cities.

On a per-36-minute basis, Reid had the best all-around season of his career, posting 22.5 points, 9.6 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per game. He also continues to be a threat from beyond the arc, coming up with some of the more clutch three-point shots the Wolves had all season long.

Reid is only 23 years old and would be a long-term solution for the Bulls at center, should they not retain Vucevic. He’s an all-around big man with a wide skillset, and would make this team a whole lot better right away. With Reid, the Bulls could run similar offensive sets as they did with Vucevic, too, thanks to his ability to knock down shots.
