The late rounds can help the Chicago Bears become a contender again.

Round Five – Pick 136

WR. Cardinal . Michael Wilson. 5. player. 871.

Round Five – Pick 148

WR. Nittany Lions . Parker Washington. 5. player. 806.

The Chicago Bears could do some damage in the fifth round when it comes to the wide receiver position. They already have DJ Moore, Darnell Mooney, and Chase Claypool amongst a few others but that can’t be seen as enough.

Although it may seem like the room is full, the Chicago Bears have never been good enough at the position to be satisfied. Taking two of them in the fifth round might help them as one of them just might work out.

The Chicago Bears do not currently have a selection in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft so we will move into the seventh round.

Round Seven – Pick 218

G. Bruins . Antonio Mafi. 7. player. 836.

Round Seven – Pick 258

player. 872. . C. Horned Frogs . Alan Ali. 7

If the Chicago Bears see some potentially good offensive linemen on the board when they come up to select in the seventh round, they should be all in on them. There are a few that might be able to make an impact in the NFL.

Chicago’s offensive line has needed work for a long time so adding guys like Antonio Mafi (UCLA and Alan Ali (TCU) could help out. If they draft as many as they can, eventually the unit will get much better.

With a draft like this, they might be able to turn the corner soon. Trading back in the first round might be unlikely but if they can get a superstar out of it, it is something to consider.
