Chicago Bears Mock Draft: 1st round trade back lands them a superstar
The Chicago Bears have made it to the 2023 NFL Draft. Over the next few days, the lives of many young men are going to change forever as their names are called to join an NFL franchise.
A few of them will be called by the Chicago Bears who are trying to build their franchise back up from the ground.
It is going to be fun to see who those players are. Over the next few years, we will decide how the draft me went for the management team currently in charge.
There are a lot of ways the draft can go for Ryan Poles and his staff. If it goes something like this mock, they will be in good shape:
The Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Chargers make sense for a trade.
With this trade, the Chicago Bears can still get a very good player in the first round. In addition to that, they can add a star running back in a guy like Austin Ekeler. Adding a second-round pick in a future draft can also help them.
Ekeler could take over as the number one back and be there for a very long time. He was one of the best players in the NFL last season and is looking to keep that momentum going.
With David Montgomery leaving the Chicago Bears to join the Detroit Lions, there is obviously going to be a hole in the offense with a guy like that gone. You never know what a trade like this can do for the franchise.
