Paris Johnson Jr. is someone that would make the Chicago Bears better.

The Chicago Bears need help on the offensive line. Paris Johnson Jr. is right there with Peter Skoronski as a guy that they should consider with pick nine if they are available. It is highly unlikely that they are both there when the Chicago Bears hit the clock.

Johnson Jr. also comes out of the Big Ten as he is from Ohio State. Of course, brand new Chicago Bears President Kevin Warren comes from the Big Ten so he might like a pick like this. However, that doesn’t matter as football should be the top reason they make selections.

This is a player that very well could be gone by pick number nine but he can change what the Chicago Bears have on the offensive line for a long time. A pro-bowl-level offensive tackle doesn’t fall on your lap often so these guys need to be in consideration.

The Chicago Bears have mostly been bad for the entire duration of their existence. Now, they have a chance to change their fortunes with this draft and it all starts with that ninth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Hopefully, they get it right.
