Jalen Carter is someone that the Chicago Bears may consider if he is there.

For a lot of obvious off-the-field-related reasons, there are going to be some teams that pass on Jalen Carter. Before any of that came out, he was projected to be a top-three pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. There were arguments for him to go first overall.

Now, because of this, he very well may slip. If he is available for the Bears at pick number nine, they should really consider it for football-related reasons. If he doesn’t fit what they are looking for in terms of character, nobody should question it.

However, from a pure-football point of view, he might be an elite player once he reaches the National Football League.

Carter attended Georgia where they had College Football Playoff National Championship success. That is no joke. He knows how to make big-time plays during big-time moments which is exactly what the Bears need.
