The Chicago Bears can make a trade that lands them extra picks in 2023.

This trade is the same as the first one except it pretends the Bears don’t see that as enough of a return.

Obviously, the injury history with Young might be too much of a concern to make the first deal as constructed.

In this one, the Commanders throw in an extra second-round pick. That pick is landing at number 47 which is an excellent pick for Ryan Poles to add at this point.

There are going to be some solid pass rushers and offensive linemen available around there to consider.

The Bears already moved their original second-round pick which ended up being the first of the round (pick 33). If Chase Claypool becomes a bust, that trade is not going to look so good. If they made this move, they’d at least get another second back along with Young.
