The Chicago Bears have some big decisions to make with their first-round pick in 2023. They already traded out of the first overall pick as they now are sitting at nine.

There are plenty of good players that they can consider and a good amount of them have the potential to become stars in the NFL.

However, what if the Bears decide that making a big-time trade is the route that they should go? There are some good options for them there as well.

If they want to trade back, the Washington Commanders might have a few ways that they can make that happen. Chase Young could be involved in a deal that moves them up to nine. One of these three trades could be it:

The Chicago Bears have a chance to make a big move in this year’s draft.

It might just be as simple as trading the ninth pick to the Washington Commanders for pick 16 and Chase Young. With a move like this, the Bears would be moving back seven spots but adding Chase Young who could be one of the top players at his position.

It is a risky move for a few reasons. With trade constructed like this, you put a lot on the back of Young in terms of pressure. He has had some injury troubles so you must be sure that he is healthy and ready to go if you make this move.

You also need to be so sure that the player you want is going to be there at 16. There are some good options but the Bears aren’t usually good at picking out those players. It is on Ryan Poles to change the narrative.
