Trade One

The Chicago Cubs could give up a haul to land Shohei Ohtani right now.

The Chicago Cubs have a lot of really good prospects to hand over in addition to some Major League players. All of these trade packages are mostly going to include a few on both sides.

In this one, the main focus is Pete Crow-Armstrong who is the number one prospect in the Chicago Cubs system. They landed him from the New York Mets in exchange for Javier Baez. Obviously, that trade was amazing for the Cubs.

Cade Horton and Matt Mervis are also top-ten Cubs prospects that are hoping to become great Major League players. They might not have a ceiling like PCA but they could become very good players.

Nick Madrigal is a player that has had his ups and downs so far. He seemed like a very good young player with the Chicago White Sox but things haven’t gone that well for him with the Chicago Cubs.

Now, it might be time for him to get another change in scenery as the Cubs don’t really need him anymore now that Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner take up the middle of the infield. Getting Ohtani in a deal like this would be more than worth it.
