Chicago Bears Mock Draft: Justin Fields traded in crazy move
Round One
The Chicago Bears could make some huge moves in the first round.
The Chicago Bears would look very interesting with a rookie under center again. Anthony Richardson is either going to be a supreme NFL quarterback or a lousy one. It doesn’t feel like there is much in between.
The soon-to-be former Florida quarterback has a lot of talent and it was on display in college but it was also on display throughout the off-season. He has impressed scouts a lot lately and has skyrocketed up the draft board in a lot of mocks. He will certainly be taken in the top ten.
Outside of this mock, there is a good chance that the Colts take him at four if they keep the pick. In this fake world, however, it is fun to think about him in blue and orange.
Now, imagine if Jalen Carter were to fall to the Bears at number nine. They get their brand new quarterback and brand new star defensive player in the same round five picks apart. A lot of people would consider that a win for Chicago.
Some teams go multiple years in a row without a top-ten pick but the Bears would have a totally different outlook if they made two in one year.
