The Chicago Bears have a lot to work on this off-season. There are people that question whether or not Justin Fields is the guy for the Chicago Bears and there are others that are so confident in him.

All that matters is what Ryan Poles thinks of him. He isn’t the GM who drafted him so he very well might want to find his own guy deep down inside.

Fields played well in 2022 (Poles’ first year in charge) but he didn’t light it up. There will be people that bring up his tenure in the league or lack of help but there are plenty of other quarterbacks that have shown more with nothing around them as well. The concerns are fair.

If Poles were to decide against Justin Fields as the long-term franchise quarterback, he could move him in this draft for picks. Fields gets moved in this crazy mock draft:

A trade like this would be a redirection of the Chicago Bears’ current plans.

In a trade like this, the Chicago Bears move Justin Fields and get a pick in which they can select their next guy. There are a few guys for them to consider with this pick. The one kid that has gained a lot of steam heading into the draft should be there and the Bears might really like him.

If they were to make a move like this, it would send shockwaves throughout the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts would take Fields to be their guy while the Bears would add the fourth pick in addition to the ninth.
