The Chicago Bears could absolutely move on from Eddie Jackson before the draft.

The Chicago Bears have had some ups and downs with Eddie Jackson in their lineup. He has times where he has been a very good defensive back and there have been times where he was pretty awful.

His coverage has always been questionable but his ability to be a playmaker has never been questioned. If he has the opportunity to make a great interception, he always makes the play. That has made him a very exciting Chicago Bears player over the years.

It might be time to trade him, however, as he is one of the last players left from the Matt Nagy era that saw them in the playoffs. He would probably benefit from a change of scenery and the Bears might be able to get something good for him.

Do you think that the Bears will be a contender within the next year or two? If the answer is no, which is probably the truth, they need to move on from Jackson. It was fun but it is time to trade him before the 2023 NFL Draft.
