3 more Bears players who could be traded before the draft
The Chicago Bears will be participating in the 2023 NFL Draft one week from Thursday and it is a big one.
It started with them making the first overall pick because of the fact that they were the worst team in the NFL last year.
Now, they are slated to make the 9th pick after trading back with the Carolina Panthers. There are some big decisions to be made before that time comes.
There is also a chance that the Bears trade a few of their roster players before the draft takes place. These are three players that they may consider moving now for more picks in this draft:
The Chicago Bears can trade Khalil Herbert before the 2023 NFL Draft.
The Chicago Bears could absolutely trade Khalil Herbert away if they wanted. There are people out there that act like he is the next Adrian Peterson but he is absolutely someone to move if they can get something good for him.
Herbert would be good as a secondary back but the Bears still need a starter. They can get assets for him by trading him away to a team with a number one. Then, they can use one of their many draft picks on a guy that can be much better than Herbert.
There are some good options for them to draft in the running back spot. Trading Herbert now while his value is as high as it will ever be might make that idea look really smart a year from now. Unless they think he is a true number one in development, it is time to move him.
