00. player. 9. . P. Chicago Cubs. Marcus Stroman

Moving Marcus Stroman would be a smart trade for the Chicago Cubs.

The Chicago Cubs made an odd signing when they inked Marcus Stroman to a deal. They were clearly going to be a bad team and his contract was going to be up by the time they started to get good again. Well, it is actually starting to look like that theory is coming to life.

In order to avoid it, the Cubs should trade Stroman now. He talked about playing for another team before he ever even threw a pitch for the Chicago Cubs so maybe they can make that happen for him. He is an outstanding pitcher but the Cubs can get a lot for him at this point in time.

He is off to a fantastic start in 2023. It is almost too good and you don’t expect it to continue this well for him throughout the year. A team, as mentioned with the previous two, might really love to add an outstanding starter to their rotation.

As good of a year as it has been through a few weeks, the future of the organization is what is really important right now and they have an opportunity to strike while the team is hot.
