3. Jujhar Khaira

The Chicago Blackhawks likely won’t bring back Jujhar Khaira next year.

The Chicago Blackhawks have Jujhar Khaira on an expired contract as well. The chances are that he won’t be back next year because they simply don’t need him anymore. He should be, at 28 years old, trying to make a fourth line on a team that has a chance to win the Stanley Cup.

The Blackhawks are going to give the minutes to younger players that are trying to develop their games for the future. Khaira isn’t going to be a part of the core.

He was a very nice depth piece for them during his tenure with the team. He had some moments where he made his name known and he should be proud of his tenure in town. We’ll see what is next for him in his career.

The Blackhawks, as mentioned before, are going to be a very different-looking team going forward. Any veterans on expiring deals are going to be gone and these three fit that bill. Hopefully, they have a little bit of luck on May 8th.
