Chicago Bears Mock Draft: They finally build long-term success
The 3rd and 4th rounds of the draft are very important for the Chicago Bears.
Round Three
The Chicago Bears have nothing left on their defensive line following all of the moves that they have made over the last year or so.
As a result, it is time to start addressing that in the 2023 NFL Draft. Zacch Pickens is a defensive lineman coming out of South Carolina that does most of his damage on the interior.
He would come to the Chicago Bears and make an immediate impact with this unit that is expected to take a step forward again as soon as the 2023 season.
Round Four
Dylan Horton is an edge rusher that would probably get some good playing time right away with the Chicago Bears. They don’t have much left so if he joined the defense along with a guy like Zacch Pickens, they could grow into a damaging defensive unit.
Every team needs a good edge rusher almost as badly as they need a good quarterback. Dylan Horton is going to try and become one of those guys in the NFL after a marvelous season with TCU. Of course, he has big game experience as well which will help him and his development.
Wanya Morris is another Oklahoma Sooner trying to make his way into the NFL. This time, it is another offensive tackle that the Bears need. They should be drafting as many good offensive linemen as they can so that if they hit on one of them, it will be a win.
Morris had a good career as a Sooner and now it is time to see what he can do as a pro. The Bears could really use a guy like this along with many others like him. You can never have too many good linemen.
