Trade Number 2

Trade number two is very similar to the first one, except the Bears get a different player in return to start with. In this deal, the Ravens send promising, young tight end Isaiah Likely to the Bears. Chicago already has Cole Kmet and recently signed veteran Robert Tonyan. However, Likely gives them a firm future at the position behind Kmet and the two of them could potentially wreck defenses together in the passing game.

Along with Likely, the Bears again swap firsts with the Ravens. But, they get a third rounder this year, and a first and fourth rounder in 2024.

It isn’t as many picks as the previous trade, but Likely could wind up being a far more valuable player, as he already has shown in his limited time in the league.

At pick 22, the Bears could be targeting someone like Oklahoma tackle Anton Harrison, Tennessee tackle Darnell Wright, Iowa State pass rusher Will McDonald IV, or Clemson defensive end Myles Murphy. Any one of those players would end up being strong contributors as rookies, plus the Bears would still have another third-round pick to work with later on.
