Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields’ unique blend of charisma, generational ability, toughness and work ethic make him a talent magnet for the Windy City.

While there are rare exceptions, team success usually plays a vital role in deciding who gets serious consideration for NFL MVP.

For the Chicago Bears to be considered a contender, they needed significantly more talent for 2023-24. Luckily for Bears Nation, Justin Fields already stated that he would help bring players to Chicago.

The Bears GM went to work in somewhat surprising fashion, as many observers thought we’d shell out a big contract to a premier player in the trenches.

However, Poles still has a lot of cap room and draft capital to fill those positions, as he’s shown recently with his sneaky signing of DL Rasheem Greene. There’s a lot of talent still to come.

The most encouraging aspect of these signings was hearing the newly-acquired Chicago Bear players make it clear that Justin Fields is a big draw. The butterfly effect of his magnetism is a huge boon for the Bears.

Justin Fields’ talent magnet is only increased when respected analysts like the NFL Network’s Adam Rank willingly add to it on Twitter, as seen below.

With a talent-infused roster, there is no question in my mind that Justin Fields will lead the Bears to a worst-to-first turnaround in the NFC North. Add it to the MVP résumé.

Even the acquisition of D.J. Moore is a direct result of Justin Fields’ presence. The No.1 pick became expendable after Fields’ value was evident to Ryan Poles. More on Chicago’s newest D.J. later.

With a long offseason including the draft and after-draft cuts still ahead, I feel secure in saying Ryan Poles will be able to continue stacking this roster in large part due to the presence of JF1.

With that being said, there are more layers to peel back to fully realize why the 2023-24 MVP is Fields’ destiny. What better layer than the advantage of our beloved city?
