The Chicago Bears could look for a CB in the 2023 NFL Draft at pick nine.

The fact that the University of Illinois might have a top-ten pick is really nice for the program. Obviously, they are not a power in the Big Ten but they have made some good improvements over the years.

Devon Witherspoon is going to be taken in the top ten (most likely) and if he isn’t, it won’t be too far beyond that in the teens. He is a cornerback coming from Illinois that wants to have a really good NFL career.

How cool would it be for him if he moved on to the NFL team from the same state that has the same colors? A lot of people dream of having a career like that and it could become reality.

Seeing the Bears draft a cornerback with this pick might confuse some people but it is absolutely possible that they go this route. Ryan Poles has already proven that he will draft whoever he feels is going to help the team win. If that is Witherspoon from Illinois, he will do it.
