Bears: 3 Justin Fields for Lamar Jackson trade packages
Maybe a Chicago Bears first-round pick would have to be involved for this.
The Chicago Bears are a team that has, as mentioned a few times, a team that has never had a top-flight quarterback. A very medium Jim McMahon won their only Super Bowl and Jay Cutler is statistically the best quarterback in franchise history.
They need to rewrite history. If they have any doubts about Justin Fields, they need to go out there and fix it before they waste more time. The previous regime’s biggest mistake was keeping Mitch Trubisky for far too long after realizing he clearly wasn’t the guy.
If the Chicago Bears think that doing something one way is right, they should do the opposite because nothing has worked in recent history. Again, these trades are highly unlikely but all options should be on the table.
Lamar Jackson is worth a developing quarterback in addition to a future first-round pick (the Bears have two in 2024). Baltimore would be foolish to say no to this package and the Bears would be getting an MVP that can turn the franchise around.
