2. Jujhar Khaira

Jujhar Khaira could be on a team’s fourth line next season if he finishes strong.

Just like Andreas Athanasiou, Jujhar Khaira is going to be in his age 29 season next year. He is on an expiring contract so these are probably going to be his final games with Chicago as well.

That means you can probably expect a lot of effort from him because you just never know what the future holds when you are in a position like his. Nobody probably was willing to give up assets to trade for him at the deadline so he might have to prove his worth here at the end.

Jujhar Khaira is a fourth liner through and through. He is a fine player but you’re not expecting lots of offense from him. In 2022-23 so far, he has four goals and eight assists for 12 points in 41 games played.

Even if it is just earning himself a PTO for 2023-24, he is going to have to make some contributions. He was injured a lot this season but we know he is capable of bringing something to certain teams in the league. Hopefully, things go well for him.
