Scouting Report. Clemson. player. 879. Pick Analysis. TE. Davis Allen. 6

In the sixth round, the Bears find someone they can line up alongside Cole Kmet in two tight end sets and offer them a pair of bigger, pass-catching targets. Clemson’s Davis Allen gets drafted late, but the guy is probably more underrated than some give him credit for.

Allen stands 6-foot-5 and weighs around 250 pounds. His size and skillset allow him to not just line up as a traditional tight end, but also as an H-back or even, at times, at wide receiver. He’s a quicker, more agile target who can make plays in space if given the chance.

As someone who wasn’t used as much as he might have liked in college, Allen could end up being more valuable as a pro.

Pick Analysis. 7. Asim Richards. player. 838. Scouting Report. OT. North Carolina

With their final pick in the draft, the Bears go back to the offensive line and add a possible depth piece with North Carolina’s Asim Richards. Possessing great size at 6-foot-4 and 304 pounds, Richards has that traditional build for an ideal NFL tackle. His lower half is strong, stout and doesn’t budge easily.

Richards also uses his hands well. He’s smart with placement and the quickness in which he activates his punch off the line. One of his best traits is his ability to match the movement of rotating fronts that wind up stunting. He doesn’t get caught off guard as easily and goes with the flow.

He’ll fall mostly because of his shorter arms and the need to improve his lateral quickness, but Richards is well-worth a pick at this point and very well could have been drafted earlier.
