DL. Moro Ojomo. 4. player. Pick Analysis. Texas. 851. Scouting Report

The Bears go right back to the trenches after taking a break drafting Williams. The defensive line is going to need a major overhaul, which will undoubtedly start in free agency first. Hopefully, the Bears can make at least one big signing across the defensive line.

From there, they can draft a guy like Texas defensive lineman Moro Ojomo. The Bears will be without last year’s signings Al-Quadin Muhammad and Justin Jones after one season, leaving some holes up front. Ojomo could potentially fill either spot, depending on where coaches see him fit best.

Ojomo stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 292 pounds, so he is more of a hybrid lineman that could line up in a couple of different spots. The one thing that impresses about his game, though, is his leg strength. His lower half is extremely powerful and allows him to push through blockers and stuff the run.

This is a powerful player who goes until the whistle blows. He’s a true Matt Eberflus type, that’s for sure. His motor never stops until it absolutely has to. Adding Ojomo up front gives the Bears a young, strong piece they could move around and use situationally at the very least.
