Chicago Bears: 3 players to draft with 9th overall pick
The Chicago Bears could use an edge rusher like Myles Murphy right away.
The Chicago Bears’ defense needs just as much work as their offense right now. The whole team has holes which is why they were the worst team in the entire National Football League. Now, the opportunity to start filling these holes is there for the taking. Can they do it?
Well, one player that would help their defense out is Myles Murphy. Getting someone who can get after the quarterback is the second most important thing in the NFL. The only thing that tops it is actually having a quarterback of your own that can make the plays needed to win.
Murphy attended Clemson where he was one of the best edge rushers in the nation. Now, he is looking to be a top-ten pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. If the Bears make him their selection at nine, that will obviously complete his dream of doing that.
Murphy would fit in very well with the Bears. They don’t have a premier pass rush anymore after letting their stars go so now is the time to get some new faces in there. Murphy is an elite prospect that could become an elite player. If edge rusher is their move, Murphy is the guy at nine.
