The Chicago Bears can really shape their future in the later rounds of the draft.

Round Four – Pick 104

. WR. Tigers . Kayshon Boutte. 104. player. 817

Going from the third round to the fourth round, the Chicago Bears could consider a wide receiver on back-to-back picks. That is especially true if they did have this many picks following the trades made in the first round. The more they end up within the room, the better chance they have at growing one or two of them into stars.

Kayshon Boutte out of LSU is someone to think about in the fourth round. With some of the other talent that would then be there with him, he could be in a good spot. From there, they would probably be done drafting wide receivers this year.

Round Four – Pick 134

134. player. 807. . RB. Fighting Illini . Chase Brown

It is always cool when players from local schools come over to Chicago teams in the pros. We have seen how much Chicago Bulls fans have enjoyed having Ayo Dosunmu after such a successful career at Illinois. Now, the Bears could try something like that with Chase Brown.

Brown is a running back that might be able to fit with this team. They might not have David Montgomery back in 2023 so adding someone like Brown might allow them to build on their running game which always seems to be solid, even when they are bad.

Drafting players at this position at this point in the draft could turn out to really help teams win. Drafting them early doesn’t seem to be worth it anymore because of how the league has moved toward passing so getting a gem this late could be great.
