The third round could give Justin Fields and the Bears some really nice weapons.

Round Three – Pick 65

player. 814. . TE. Bulldogs . Darnell Washington. 65

The Chicago Bears have Cole Kmet who was a beast (for the most part) in 2022-23. He was one of the few players that took steps on this team as the years prior didn’t go that great for him in the NFL. He is all of a sudden looking like a really nice second-round pick from a few years ago.

However, now is not the time to stop looking for a superstar tight end. If they draft another one and they are both great, that can help a team win Super Bowls. Darnell Washington out of Georgia is someone to think about.

He brings a lot of great experience as well as the team is now the two-time defending College Football Playoff champions. It certainly isn’t an NFL experience but he has played in some huge games which will certainly help him at the next level. The Bears should seriously consider this guy.

Round Three – Pick 66

884. . WR. Mustangs . Rashee Rice. 66. player

This is a pick that the Bears got from the Houston Texans in that mock trade earlier in the draft. With it, the Bears could consider making their third-round selections all about weapons for Justin Fields. Skilled positions on offense are always fun to see come to your team.

Rashee Rice coming from SMU is going to be a great receiver in the NFL with a little bit of development. If Justin Fields is the guy in the long run, Rice could be one of the great beneficiaries.
