Chicago Bears Free Agency: 3 ideal offensive line targets

Ideal free agent offensive line targets for the Chicago Bears: Orlando Brown Jr., T
Last offseason, the Kansas City Chiefs and offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. were not able to get a long-term deal done. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, the Bears not only have a truckload of cap space but also a connection to Brown via Ryan Poles, who of course came from Kansas City.
Brown is somewhat of a unicorn and is unanimously the best free agent offensive lineman available this offseason. He has played over 1,000 snaps in four straight seasons, and he’s proven he can play well in very different systems.
In Baltimore, Brown played left tackle in an offense featuring a lot of run plays behind the legs of Lamar Jackson. Fortunately for the Bears, Fields is also an athletic, mobile quarterback and Brown has experience playing with that type.
But, in Kansas City, Brown spent a lot of his time in passing sets, protecting the league MVP in Patrick Mahomes.
This is a guy who is going to get a massive contract, and it will be well-deserved, too. Brown has earned every penny coming his way, and we can only hope that it’s in Chicago.
