The Chicago Bears have an off-season of their own to worry about. While trying to develop their young quarterback, make a good decision with the first overall pick, and get back to their winning ways, it is hard for them to focus on the outside noise.

However, what goes on with Aaron Rodgers in the Green Bay Packers is obviously going to affect them. Green Bay is the team that Chicago has been chasing for all these years. Well, there might be some changes coming to this rivalry soon.

Once the 2022-23 season ended for the Green Bay Packers against the Detroit Lions in Week 18, speculation has begun when it comes to the future of this franchise.

Of course, that means Aaron Rodgers and his future as a quarterback in the NFL. We know that he just spent some time doing a darkness retreat and is expected to have an announcement soon. He doesn’t want to keep the Packers waiting very long.

Did this former Chicago Bears star spoil Aaron Rodgers’ retirement plans?

The funny thing is that his decision might have been spoiled already and it may have come from a player that was a very good player for the Chicago Bears once upon a time.

Brandon Marshall put a note on his Instagram sharing his congratulations to Rodgers on retirement. That is obviously something that is going to spark conversation around the NFL world. Seeing one of the best ever retire would obviously be a monumental moment.

This could end up meaning absolutely nothing. We may never know why Marshall posted it if it isn’t true but it is worth noting at this time. Obviously, the division will be for the taking in the long term if he did in fact make the decision to retire.

Rodgers has been so good against the Bears (and everyone in general) that wanting him to retire is the ultimate compliment. The Chicago Bears’ future hopes will expand the moment he walks away from it all.

We’ll see where this ends up going over the next few weeks. Once a decision is announced, the entire division will react accordingly.
