3 greatest moments in Patrick Kane’s Blackhawks career
2. Patrick Kane wins MVP
Patrick Kane won the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s MVP in 2016.
In 2015-16, as the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Chicago Blackhawks added Artemi Panarin to the mix. He was put on a line with Patrick Kane and the two guys had instant chemistry with each other.
Kane ended up leading the league in scoring to win the Art Ross Trophy. As a result, he was voted to be the Hart Trophy winner as the Most Valuable Player in the league. The Hawks had the best record in the West for the regular season so he was the MVP on a winning team.
It was one of the best seasons of Kane’s career in terms of personal success. He had 46 goals and 60 assists for 106 points. He also played in all 82 games for the first time in a few years which was awesome for him and the team.
Winning an MVP in the NHL is not easy as there are a lot of elite players in the league but we all know Kane was one of them. It was awesome to see a Blackhawks player be a recipient of the Hart Trophy which is not something that happens every season. This was a top moment in his career.
