The Chicago Blackhawks are going to trade Patrick Kane. It sounds like it is a foregone conclusion that the New York Rangers are going to be the team that comes in and gets him. He has wanted to go there for a big and it seems like the perfect fit.

Of course, in going to New York, he’d get to play with Artemi Panarin who he has played with in the past.

Not only have they played together, but they have also had tremendous success in doing so. Once this deal is done, we are going to see them make magic once again.

The Rangers aren’t going to have to give that much up for Kane. Because of the situation with Kane having all of the leverage, the Hawks aren’t getting what they should be for Kane. These are three underwhelming trade packages that might be realistic now:

The Chicago Blackhawks are not going to get a lot for Patrick Kane.

This might be the best although underwhelming deal to expect for Patrick Kane at this point. A 2023 second-round pick would actually serve the Blackhawks well as this is a very deep draft coming up.

Patrick Kane is worth so much more than what the Blackhawks are going to actually get for him which is a shame. The fact of the matter is, however, that Kane has the no-move clause and it is now well known that he will only waive it for the Rangers.

Why would the Rangers give up much more than that in order to land him if they don’t have to? Again, consider this the high end of underwhelming.
