Chicago Bears Mock Draft: Fix OL while adding a WR and TE
The Chicago Bears have three selections to make in rounds 5-7 in 2023.
The Chicago Bears are currently sitting with three selections in the final three rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft. Two of them are in the fifth round and one of them is in the seventh round. They no longer hold their sixth-round pick so they will be sitting out of that one as of now.
Round Five – Pick 138
Although it is separate rounds, the Bears’ fifth-round selection is set to come just four picks after the Eagles’ fourth-round pick that they own. Taking another wide receiver here might be a really smart idea as they need to keep working to build up that position.
Even if they all don’t hit, the more you draft the better chance you have of one of them turning into something for you. Xavier Hutchinson out of Iowa State is absolutely someone to consider here in the early stages of the fifth round.
Round Five – Pick 151 – via New England Patriots
Rashad Torrence II is someone for the Chicago Bears to consider for their defense. He comes from the Florida Gators program where he had some very nice success there. He is going to be available through most of the fifth round and this would be a great spot for the Bears to address the defense again.
Round Seven – Pick 221
As mentioned before, the Chicago Bears desperately need to address their offensive line. Adding a center might be something they consider. Even if it is to develop him over time, Caleb Murphy out of Indiana is someone to consider.
They can also see what they have in multiple different linemen so that they can make adjustments if necessary. Adding a center (or any lineman) would be a great way to end their 2023 NFL Draft.
