Blackhawks fans need to see this Connor Bedard highlight
The Chicago Blackhawks are an atrocious NHL team and it is mostly by design. GM Kyle Davidson is set on rebuilding this team the long way so that they can have some sustained success once they are done.
One way to have sustained success would be to win the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery. There is a generational talent named Connor Bedard set to come out of the draft and we don’t say that about most drafts. The team picking first will be changed forever.
Right now, Chicago Blackhawks fans should be studying the Regina Pats star closely in case he becomes a part of their team in the summer. If the season were to end right now, they’d have the best chance to win the lottery and the right to draft him.
On Saturday night, Bedard scored a goal short-handed that should be seen by everyone. All of the other tanking teams in the league are going to notice this goal as well because it was truly sensational.
The Chicago Blackhawks need Connor Bedard as badly as anyone.

On this goal, Bedard makes the defenders look silly as he slips by them using an amazing move and then he finds a way to put the puck past the goalie after a couple of tries. He combined effort with incredible skill to get this goal scored.
This is truly a sensational player. He added two assists in the game to get his points total to 103 (51-52-103) which leads the WHL. Since coming back from the World Junior Championships, Bedard has 24 goals and 15 assists for 39 points in 13 games.
In addition to the offensive totals, he was also dominant as a faceoff man. He won 29 out of 35 which is really impressive. It is doubtful that he will be a center in the NHL but having this skill in his back pocket could really help him.
The Blackhawks really need this guy. He would transform the trajectory of their franchise for a long time. The prospect farm would go from top ten to top one if they landed Connor Bedard. When he scores goals like this in the WHL, it makes it easier to suffer through some of these Blackhawks’ losses.
