Blackhawks Rumors: Likely trades, landing spots for Patrick Kane

Maybe the Chicago Blackhawks could trade Patrick Kane within the Division.

The Chicago Blackhawks have made trades within the Central Division before. Not just weak trades either. They acquired a first-round pick from the Nashville Predators in recent memory for Ryan Hartman so they don’t mind those types of deals.

The Minnesota Wild are a bubble team right now that would love to find a way to make a big move. They are in all sorts of rumours right now and Patrick Kane would be a great fit for them. He has torched them in the past and now could be their time to have him on their side.

Kane should be landing the Hawks a first-round pick no matter what. He is still an elite player that is going to start to show it again when he gets to a new team. People that think he’s washed are in for a rude awakening when that happens. Just look at what is going on with Vladimir Tarasenko.

Ryan O’Rourke and Liam Ohgren are each top prospects that the Minnesota Wild think highly of which is why they drafted them as high as they did. If the Hawks added more prospects like that, the rebuild would be looking even better which is saying something.

We don’t know for sure if Kane will be on the move but his reactions to the New York Rangers trade for Tarasenko suggest that he is at least thinking about it.
