The Chicago Bears could get a haul of just draft picks for the first overall pick.
The Chicago Bears are looking to make their franchise so much better. They could trade the first overall to the Colts and their fourth is part of the package. From there, they could trade out of the fourth pick for even more draft picks and get an even bigger haul.
In this proposed package, the fourth overall pick is one of five picks given to the Bears by the Colts. They’d be able to get their quarterback of the future and the Bears would be able to start working on his depth. This would be a great opportunity for Poles to show off his drafting ability.
The Colts drafting a quarterback might be a big deal for them. If they don’t, the Jacksonville Jaguars are looking like they might be able to run the AFC South Division with nobody in their way. You know that wouldn’t sit well with an organization as historically successful as the Colts.
Nobody knows for sure if the Bears are going to move out of the first overall pick but it would be a really smart idea if their plan isn’t to use it on a quarterback. As you can see, a big haul is expected in return for the selection.
