The Chicago Bears could make a wide receiver swap during this off-season.

The Chicago Bears don’t really know what they have in Darnell Mooney. He was a bit hurt to end the season and the Bears kept him out. It is fair to wonder if he would have played again if they were in postseason contention. It made them worse to sit him out which is probably what they wanted.

It is fairly obvious that he isn’t a number-one receiver. However, we still aren’t truly sure if he is a solid number two or a very good number three. Either way, you trade him to the Buffalo Bills for Stefon Diggs if that is what it takes. This would be a great swap for the Bears right now.

Diggs is worth the price of Mooney and a future second-round pick. This way the Bears can get Fields an impressive game-changer and the Bills can add a really good receiver to somewhat replace what Diggs would be leaving behind.

Obviously, Mooney isn’t close to Diggs’ level but he is good enough to thrive on that Buffalo team if their number one didn’t want to be there anymore.

All of these trades present something different and would depend on the outlook of both teams trying to make a deal revolving around an unhappy superstar wide receiver. If he does request a trade, the Bears need to do what they can to try and make it happen.
