WR. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Julio Jones. 6. player. 48.

Julio Jones is a free agent for the Chicago Bears to consider this off-season.

Unlike Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, Julio Jones is a free agent. He can go wherever he wants without getting traded which means that the ball is in his court. After seeing what he has done in his NFL career, it is obvious that he is going to get a contract somewhat quickly.

Julio Jones isn’t a top-three receiver anymore but he is still really good. If he came to the Bears, he’d be an incredible option for them and all he would cost them is money. There would be no draft capital headed out of the door.

Jones started his magnificent career with the Atlanta Falcons before finding his way to the Tennessee Titans. He was with the Bucs in 2022 and had a solid year but he was with an offense that failed to meet expectations as a whole.

Coming to a young team like the Bears would be a change for him but it might be something that he is ready for in his career. There is a lot of good that he could bring to some of the young offensive players on the team.

It is unclear if the Bears are going to go for any of these guys but they should really consider it if they want the offense to take another step next year. We know that Fields can run well but he needs to complement it with his passing game. Adding a receiver like this from Tampa Bay would help.
