Chris Godwin would certainly make a big impact on the Chicago Bears offense.

The Chicago Bears need a top-flight wide receiver and could look for one on the trade market. Of course, from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mike Evans might be the number one choice but there are plenty of good options out there that would make a lot of sense.

Chris Godwin would be amazing for them for a variety of reasons. He has some injury concerns but he got healthy this season and started to make a big impact. Obviously, going from Tom Brady to Justin Fields would be an adjustment for him (or anyone) but it could work well if he stays healthy.

Godwin could be a number one or a number two. Either one of those roles would be great for him. On the Bears, at least for a bit, he’d be the number one with ease. Adding Godwin to a room with Mooney and Claypool might make them all of the sudden line up much more confident.

Like Evans, Godwin would be a guy who lines up as the number one and would create space for the previously mentioned new teammates that he’d have.

A receiver as fast as him might even open up more room for a tight end like Cole Kmet whom they are hoping to see take another step. There is literally nothing to think about here as Godwin would be a great player for the Chicago bears to consider.
