Chicago Bears: 5 free agents to pursue from Wildcard losers

Free agents for the Chicago Bears to pursue from Wildcard losers: Donald Parham, TE
For a couple of years now, Donald Parham has been making his name known amongst NFL fans. After becoming an XFL star a few years back, Parham made his way to the pros and has found a home with the Los Angeles Chargers.
This spring, he becomes a restricted free agent. That makes things tough, because Los Angeles could choose to match any deal he accepts from another team. But, the Chargers also have a couple of other tight ends on the roster still.
Gerald Everett has been a fantastic weapon for Justin Herbert since coming to L.A. He’s become one of the top targets in the passing game, overshadowing the potentially great output from Parham.
The Chargers also have young tight end Tre McKitty, who has two years left on his deal.
If the Bears could pair Parham with Cole Kmet, Justin Fields would have a possibly-lethal duo at tight end. Many successful teams around the league are using multiple tight end sets and using them well, and if the Bears could become one of them, it would only help further Fields’ development.
Parham is a freak athlete, standing 6-foot-8. Although he is rarely used, the 25-year-old could offer the Bears an exciting, undervalued weapon.
