Chicago Bulls Rumors: 3 Zach LaVine trades to allow a fresh start

Zach LaVine trades to give he and the Chicago Bulls a fresh start: The New York Knicks
Lastly, we come to maybe the one team all of us could see taking on that LaVine contract without hesitation. Of course, it’s the New York Knicks.
New York is known to be a bit reckless with their assets, so trading for LaVine’s $215 million contract that includes a 15 percent trade kicker isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. Not to mention, the Bulls would get a haul in return — and it would help Chicago immediately.
In this deal, the Knicks get LaVine. That’s it.
The Bulls, on the other hand, get forwards Evan Fournier and Cam Reddish, along with bringing their hometown kid back to Chicago — Derrick Rose.
Bringing Rose home would be all about appeasing fans and selling tickets. It would be the feel-good part of this trade, when in all reality the Bulls would be admitting to a rebuild.
But, that rebuild could be expedited with the help of two extra first rounders in the 2023 NBA Draft. That’s what the Knicks would give up, and those two picks could end up being pretty high as they’re courtesy of the Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards.
Chicago gets some draft capital to work with. The Knicks make another mind-numbing decision. Both are feasible to see happening, and Bulls fans would likely welcome a move like this.
