Predicting the final 3 Bears games with draft position on the line
The Chicago Bears won’t be ending the season with a freebee by any means.
The Chicago Bears, potentially a 3-13 team at this point, will close out the 2022 season with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings. This is the NFC North champion as they have already clinched. The problem for the Bears in this one is the fact that the Vikings may rest guys.
If that happens, the Bears will have a chance in this one. It would really be a shame to see them lose draft stock because of the fact that the Vikings are resting their guys. We can only hope that the Vikings are playing for something in that final week which is possible.
On Christmas eve, the Vikings have a week 16 home game against the New York Giants. A week later in week 17, they have the Green Bay Packers on the road. These are two very winnable games for the Vikings as they are much better than both of those teams.
The Eagles currently have a two-game lead for the top spot in the NFC but the Vikings are not out of it. If the Eagles find themselves without Jalen Hurts in any of these final games because of his current injury, the Vikings might have a chance to catch up.
That could mean that the Vikings have their sights set on the first-round bye if things go their way. That could mean a big time-loss for the Chicago Bears.
Regardless of the situation, it is hard to see the Bears beating the Vikings without all of their starters. Because of that, the Bears have a great shot at ending the season 3-14.
