The Chicago Bears could sign Eagles linebacker T.J. Edwards in 2023

Linebacker has been a topic of interest this year, as the Bears dealt with an interesting situation between the organization and Roquan Smith. Eventually, Smith was dealt to the Ravens and, in his place, undrafted free agent Jack Sanborn has stepped up and played excellent football on the inside.

If the Bears wanted to add an experienced starter, here, they could go after veteran T.J. Edwards who is another former Wisconsin Badgers backer.

Edwards has become one of the more consistent inside linebackers in football in only his fourth season. Last year, he finished with a whopping 130 tackles. This year, though, he’s already at 120 with a few more games to play.

if the Bears weren’t sold on Sanborn taking over as the full-time starter, or if they wanted to pair him with Edwards on the outside, they’d have a couple of tackling machines. These are two linebackers who come from the same college system and are used to flocking to the football.
