The Chicago Blackhawks are going to trade Patrick Kane at some point. They would be really foolish not to. There are a few ways that this can go for them. They could go for a variety of different positions that could help them out in the long term.

No matter what, you’d think that a first-round pick is coming back for Kane. They are aiming low if they don’t at least try to get one of those from someone. Then, after that, it would depend on how much the Hawks are able to pry away if that team really did want Patrick Kane for their run.

Noah Dobson and Robin Salo are both defensemen that are on the New York Islanders roster right now. Both are young but Dobson is a little bit more reestablished at this point in their career. Both would come in and play for the Blackhawks in the NHL right away.

The Hawks could use some young help on the blue line. Making a trade like this would also make other guys in the lineup available via a trade like Jack Johnson or Connor Murphy. this would be a great trade for both sides as they head in opposite directions this season.
