Chicago Bears land Christian McCaffrey in one of these 3 trades

The Chicago Bears should think about taking some risks going forward.

The Chicago Bears have not put a lot of emphasis on offense in their history. They have never drafted and developed a franchise quarterback in the modern era and that is a significant fact that needs to be corrected. In order to do that, you need to provide him with weapons.

Adding someone like Christian McCaffrey could change everything for them. He can be a great receiving running back and we know what he can do with his legs on the ground. When he is on top of his game, he is one of the best running backs in the entire National Football League.

The Bears haven’t had a running back with this type of resume since Walter Payton. He might not be the same back that he was a few years ago but when he is healthy, he is incredibly effective. That is why giving up three draft picks for him over the next two years might be worth it.

Darnell Mooney is also a great weapon for Fields but he has a ceiling. There is no telling how good McCaffrey can be when he is on the field.

Again, this is a risky type of trade but you can’t underestimate how someone like Christian McCaffrey can impact a football team. Whichever team that gets him will certainly be giving up a lot.
