3. Chicago Blackhawks will come in 32nd place

The Chicago Blackhawks are going to be one of the worst teams in the league.

It is one thing to be a bad team. Many are anticipating that for the Chicago Blackhawks. However, there is a big difference between coming in 27th place in the league and coming in 32nd place. That means that you are the worst of the worst and that never feels good.

However, it is technically way better to come in 32nd place than 27th place for the purpose of the lottery. The Blackhawks would have the best chance to win it if they did actually end up coming in 32nd place. If they did, Connor Bedard would be coming to Chicago.

There are plenty of bad teams in the league like the Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, San Jose Sharks, and Seattle Kraken that will be in the mix as well but the Hawks might be the worst of them. If they trade Patrick Kane, it will become even more likely that they come in last.

The future is might brighter for this team than it was a year ago already and Kyle Davidson has just recently taken over. If he gets another really high draft pick and hits on it, they will have an even brighter future. There will be no shame in building this thing the right way.

Although none of these predictions are what fans would like to hear, it is nice to know that they now have a direction. Hopefully, everything that happens this year leads to them becoming a contender again.
