Ryan Poles revitalizes Chicago Bears roster in this early 2023 mock draft

Lastly, the Bears add a defensive lineman in the sixth round with Baylor’s Gabe Hall. This is an area where the Bears tried to add some talent, here, in the 2022 offseason. The previously-mentioned Muhammad came in along with veteran Justin Jones to join guys like Angelo Blackson (a free agent in 2023), Gipson, Quinn, Robinson, Mike Pennel and newly-signed Armon Watts (off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings).
This is a spot that could very well be in flux next year, as the Bears could be without Blackson and Quinn, for sure, along with possibly moving on from others.
Hall is a 6-foot-6 mammoth in the middle, weighing around 300 pounds and offering Chicago a quick-footed interior big man. When you talk about offensive linemen having strength and speed in a “phone booth,” that’s exactly what Hall has as well.
He isn’t going to “wow” you with overly impressive pass rush skills, but his initial burst is impressive. He’s also solid against the run, but is quicker than someone like the recently-released Khyiris Tonga.
Adding Hall to the Bears’ line, this late, is a big win for the group. He could be a developmental type of prospect that might just play some meaningful snaps right away, within a rotation.
