Ryan Poles revitalizes Chicago Bears roster in this early 2023 mock draft

If you were to bet on players to be moved by this year’s trade deadline, Bears pass rusher Robert Quinn would likely come in towards the top of the list — and might even be a fantastic candidate right now, for a team like the Tennessee Titans who just lost Harold Landry to a torn ACL.
The Bears’ future at the pass rusher position includes Trevis Gipson and 2022 rookie Dominique Robinson, but depth at that spot is crucial for a defense to continue getting after the quarterback. Signing Al-Quadin Muhammad this past offseason was an underrate move, but here in the fourth round the Bears get their no. 4 pass rusher in Auburn’s Derick Hall.
Now, Hall only stands 6-foot-2 and weighs roughly 240 pounds, so he may actually be best suited at outside linebacker. But, nonetheless, Hall could be a versatile piece in this defense.
Hall rushes the passer, but in the Tigers’ defense he also drops into coverage as an off-ball type in the flats and shallow middle. Thus, if Eberflus deemed fit, Hall might just fit into that outside linebacker position.
And, not only will the Bears be looking for a pass rusher next year, but they’ll possibly be looking for all three starting linebackers depending on what they decide to do with the three currently starting in 2022.
